A group of Year 10 students at Lymington’s Priestlands School are enjoying their 2-year Woodlander course in woodland management thanks to an award of £3,500 from Olivia Inspires.

A New Forest charity set up just over a year ago, following the tragic death of Milford on Sea student, Olivia Burt has been helping some of the most vulnerable young people in the New Forest district during the pandemic.

Recently we received an application for an Olivia Inspires grant from Phoebe, a New Forest student asking for support to develop her love of photography and vlogging.
New Forest youth charity, Olivia Inspires is extremely grateful for a donation from Milford on Sea’s Barry Phillips’ Youth Trust which has just closed.
The final total is in and it is an incredible £5428.31, what an amazing effort!

Last weekend over 130 sailors travelled to Derwent Reservoir for the Angel of the North 2019 team racing regatta.
